Stage II Water Restrictions rescinded. Effective now: Stage I voluntary water conservation.

While Belton Lake water level is still below the normal level of 594 feet, the level has risen above the Stage II trigger level of 578.7 feet giving Moffat Water Supply Corporation cause to rescinded Stage II Water Restrictions. Moffat WSC will now implement Stage I voluntary water restrictions as listed in our Drought Contingency Plan. During Stage I water restrictions all customers are requested to voluntarily limit the irrigation of landscaped areas, use of water for washing motor vehicles and boats, and use of water to fill or refill swimming pools or jacuzzi type pools to the same schedule as Stage II water restrictions as detailed below:
- Water customers with street addresses ending in even numbers, are requested to voluntarily limit irrigation of landscaped areas and use of water for washing motor vehicles and boats to Sunday and Thursday from 8:00 pm to 10:00 am.
- Water customers with street addresses ending in odd numbers, are requested to voluntarily limit irrigation of landscaped areas and use of water for washing motor vehicles and boats to Saturday and Wednesday from 8:00 pm to 10:00 am.
- Irrigation of landscape and yards is permitted anytime by means of hand-held hose.
- Watering livestock is permitted.
- Water customers are requested to limit the use of water to fill or refill swimming pools or jacuzzi type pools to between the hours of 8:00 pm to 10:00 am on their designated days.
- It is requested that water customers reduce all non-essential water use, i.e., wash down of all outside surfaces or buildings, flushing gutters, ornamental fountains, construction, and dust control.
