In early March, the Public Utility Commission of Texas issued an order temporarily prohibiting disconnection of service for non-payment in response to the arctic freeze Texas experienced in February. The PUCT's order was recently rescinded by the Commission this month (March). The Moffat Water Supply Corporation will resume disconnection for non-payment starting April 15, 2021. Customers that are still unable to pay their water bill due to the February freeze must contact our business office immediately during normal business hours (M-F 8:00 am-4:30 pm) to make necessary payment arrangements to avoid being disconnected. Moffat Water Supply Corporation is willing to work with their customers subject to disconnection within the payment provisions listed in the latest Board adopted Tariff found on MWSC’s website under the “Forms and Report” tab.
